Thermal insulation for colder environments

Nordic Insulation System is a complete insulation system, specially designed for all hot tubs installed outdoors and in cold environments. It is a 10 mm thermal insulation material consisting of 5 layers:

– Aluminum
– RC9 foam + low density polyethylene (double layer).
– FONEX non-crosslinked polyethylene foam (20 kg/m3).
– RC9 foam + low density polyethylene (double layer).
– Aluminum

The material completely covers the sides of the hot tub (also insulated at the bottom, as standard in all our hot tubs). It creates an air chamber that prevents heat loss and maximizes energy efficiency, which of course leads to significant energy savings.

According to the tests carried out by our quality department, the Nordic insulation system guarantees energy savings of 80 % compared to a spa without this insulation, (when the water is kept at 38C with an outdoor temperature of -15C). The Nordic insulation system significantly improves the energy savings from the EcoSpa function (69 % savings).
